- Helping Out -

The Streamling project is still in its infancy. The basic features are becoming more robust, but there is still much to do. The development, documentation, and testing is all done by only a few people. We are always looking for talented and enthusiastic people to help out. While help in all aspects, there are several areas in which we are in need of the most help; they are as follows:

Web/Graphic Design:

Streamline is a web application. As such, a large part of the project's success depends on effective visual presentation. Wtih a small staff it is hard to dedicate a large amount of time to working on the visual aspects of Streamline when some many of the basic features are still not complete. We are looking for people who will be able to create effective web layouts for both Streamline itself and this web site. Some one who has a strong background in web design as well as graphic design (logos, icons etc) would be a big help. Knowing a liitle php would be greate but not really a major requirement.

Testers:

The development staff has a limited number of platforms and configurations at their disposal to use to test streamline. Additionally, testing a complex web application can be a time consuming task. We are looking for people who would be interested in testing out the latest and greates version of Streamine, before they are released.

This is a great way to contribute to the project, because you will get the new features sooner than everyone else and you will have a direct channel to the development staff so you comments and ideas will likely be held in high regard. Plus its a great way to get your foot in the door if you are interested in joining the development staff. To be able to test you really only need to be able to install an use Streamline. However if you know PHP and aren't affraid of doing some debugging that would be even better.
